A family theater event will take place in the gardens of Grantham House to raise funds to support a church.
An Alice in Wonderland themed family theatrical event, held in the gardens of Grantham House, will raise funds for St Wulfram’s Church.
The outdoor event, by Folksy Theatre, will also have live music and puppets.
It will take place on Thursday, September 1, starting at 3 p.m., with visitors being asked to bring their own picnic and folding chairs.
Melanie Brown, operations and development manager at St Wulfram’s, said: “St Wulfram’s Church uses Grantham House as offices, a place of wholeness and well-being, a choir school and for events.
“The purpose of these events is to raise funds to help support the church and, as you are no doubt aware, the pandemic has had a significant impact on church finances.”
The description of the event read: “Alice, a curious girl, follows a white rabbit down a rabbit hole and finds herself in Wonderland! There she begins an adventure she will never forget.
“Go to the beautiful gardens of Grantham House and meet some of the weirdest and most peculiar characters, including the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts.”
