Other Game of Thrones characters who could work in Multiversus

Warner Bros’ new crossover fighting game MultiVersus brought together some of the biggest studio IPs under one roof. Players can control characters ranging from The Iron Giant and Superman to Arya Stark and Bugs Bunny. He’s created a wild roster of some of the most iconic characters around, and it’s only going to get bigger with more updates. The developers plan to add characters such as Black Adam, Stripe, and Rick Sanchez, while leaks suggest there are even more characters making the cut.

The list of MultiVersus will only continue to grow, and there’s a lot of potential for new characters. One of the present franchises, game of thrones, has hardly been exploited. Currently, players can play as Arya Stark with rumors suggesting Daenerys Targaryen and The Hound will be heading to the game at a later date. That leaves a lot more game of thrones characters who are just waiting for the MultiVersus treatment, and Player First Games should answer some of them.

Spoiler for game of thrones ahead.

Brienne of Tarth

Brienne of Tarth was a major player in the game of thrones series, and many viewers have come to love it over the years. She was introduced in Season 2 and served as Sir Renly Baratheon’s Kingsguard during the War of the Five Kings. Things quickly take a turn as she is framed for killing the future king, and she finds herself embroiled in an even bigger game. She becomes one of Jaime Lannister’s closest allies and is truly a force to be reckoned with in Westeros. His combat prowess and status as a beloved character make him a perfect fit for MultiVersus.

Demon Targaryen

Few may still know who Daemon Targaryen is, as he was featured in the brand new game of thrones prequel series Dragon House. He was the brother of King Viserys I Targaryen and wished to become his heir. However, events in the pilot episode resulted in him no longer being the heir to the Iron Throne. Viewers will have to wait and see what happens next, and it could be very bloody. Although he has yet to gain a huge fan base, his inclusion in MultiVersus would be a perfect way to announce the brand new show.

Gregor Clegane

Gregor Clegane is more commonly known as The Mountain, and he would be a very interesting addition to the roster. He was a warrior who towered over his enemies and was as unstoppable as he was vicious. However, he succumbed to the poison and was later zombified by Cersei Lannister. He’s a very menacing character that would most likely fit the tank class in MultiVersusand could bring with him devastating attacks that tear his enemies apart.

Jaime Lannister

Jaime Lannister is one of the most popular characters in game of thronesand he would make a great addition to the wild list of MultiVersus. He was the twin brother and lover of Cersei Lannister and served in the Kingsguard. He was first painted as a sarcastic villain, but has become a beloved figure for many fans. He also formed a close bond with Brienne of Tarth during his travels and would be a major force on Westeros. His combat ability and shiny golden armor would go great in the platform fighter.

Jon Snow

One of the most interesting characters in game of thrones must be Jon Snow, and it would be a big mistake to leave him out of MultiVersus. Jon Snow was first introduced as the son of Lord Eddard Stark, but his lineage was a mystery. He would serve as a member of the Night’s Watch and eventually rise through the ranks of Lord Commander. Events removed him from this post and he was eventually elected King of the North. His actions have led to major upheavals across Westeros, and he will be instrumental in preparing the North for the vile White Walkers.

There are so many more game of thrones characters who could make the cut. While not all of them will be added, since the game needs to make room for more IPs, there is definitely room for more residents of Westeros.

MultiVersus is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
