Spooky Toronto escape game traps you in a haunted village with cursed streets
Something sinister is coming to town this summer, and it’s not for the faint-hearted. The sleepy village of Black Creek has been overtaken by a curse, and it’s up to you and your bravest friends to lift it.
Secret City Adventures brings its spooky escape game Where dark things dwell Return to Black Creek Pioneer Village. The experience will open on June 18 and run through November.
The immersive adventure lets you and your party explore the Night Village and see if you have what it takes to banish the evil that has taken hold there. Guided only by a lantern, you’ll have to solve puzzles, challenges and more before the final bell rings.
The whole game takes 90 minutes, plus a 15 minute intro and out. The experience is available Friday and Saturday evenings from 6-9pm, meaning you can explore the village in the dark of night.
Tickets are available online and you can reserve a spot for teams of 6-10 players.
It’s not the only immersive escape game happening in the city this summer. A Alice in Wonderland The experience takes place in August and you will feel like you have fallen down the rabbit hole.
