TikToker discovers the store’s “adult” themed toys

Build-A-Bear Workshop is loved by many for its interactive toy-making experience. While the store primarily markets its stuffed animals to children, a TikToker discovered that Build-A-Bear’s website has a hidden page that contains “racy” items for adult audiences.

TikToker Rena shared this video detailing the items currently available on the Build-A-Bear “After Dark” website.

Most of the items available at Build-A-Bear After Dark consist of generic stuffed animals from the store wearing “adult” themed outfits. Examples include:

  • A teddy bear wearing a shirt that says “Sun’s Out Buns Out”.

  • A female puppy wearing a shirt that says “Here for the Margs” with a margarita accessory.

  • Various summer-themed gift sets of Pawlette (a stuffed bunny) wearing a bathing suit while holding a coconut cocktail.

Rena is particularly amused by the store’s “Lovable Lion Champagne Gift Set,” which features an adorable lion plush wearing a red satin robe while holding a bottle of champagne in one hand and a glass in the other. The lion product page features a dramatic image of the lion appearing to pour a drink while sitting on a fuzzy white rug by a cozy fireplace.

“It gives a new meaning to a racy teddy!” Rena wrote in the caption of the video.

TikTokers were surprised by the existence of Build-A-Bear After Dark and found Rena’s video to be hilarious.

“I would love to be the person in charge of setting up these shoots,” one TikTok user commented.

“The fact that they are scented makes me think I need them,” another wrote.

“The funniest thing about this collection is that they make you confirm that you are at least 18 before they let you see it,” someone noted.

Other TikTok users have become very fond of the Lovable Lion gift box.

“The lion gives a lot to Hugh Hefner,” one TikToker joked.

“That lion would treat me well, I know that,” said another.
